Our History
Boswell High School opened its doors in 1961 and holds the distinction of being the first high school in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
Named after W.E. Boswell on land donated by the Boswell Family, BHS has evolved through numerous renovations and expansions to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic student population.
While much has changed, the heart of Boswell remains rooted in tradition. The campus library is part of the original building, serving as a lasting connection to the school’s early years. Several areas of the campus, including the gym and auditorium, are named in honor of distinguished Boswell alumni—symbolizing the pride and legacy that continue to inspire future generations of Pioneers.
